Thanksgiving recipes
Grandma’s stuffing balls:
One loaf of italian bakery bread or Ezekial bread toasted and cut into cubes
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup of chopped onion
2 cups vegetable broth
2 tablespoons of miso
Mix all ingredients. Add more vegetable broth if needed to form balls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30minutes or until brown.
Pumpkin Pie:
Filling:
1 and 1/2 cans pumpkin puree
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar or 4 dates
1/3 cup almond milk
3 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of clove
1/4 teaspoon of allspice
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
mix in blender and pour into pie crust-bake for 50-60 minutes until filling cracks
Crust:
4 dates
1/4 cup of almonds
1/4 cup of peacans
1/4 cup of walnuts
blend in food processor and press into pie crust.
