Podcast Episode 150: So happy to share the news of our new education kitchen

Welcome and thank you for listening. I am so excited to tell you about our new nutrition education kitchen. We have had three classes and everyone loves it. We can now put audio and videos of the classes on our membership content page. So everyone can learn and feel apart of the plant strong community. Next step will to go live. The classes are not only a great way to learn about preparing plant based meals but also to trouble shoot when confronted with crazy things such as asparagus causes cancer. What? That is right. Asparagine, an amino acid named after asparagus, because that was the first place it was isolated was linked to metastasis of breast cancer in mice. Asparagine is abundant everywhere including beef, poultry, fish, shellfish, legumes, soy, and grains. We humans can make it so it is not essential. Somehow asparagus got the blame. Please don’t stop eating asparagus. The press would not dare try that on a steak house or the beef industry. But that is just another reason why obtaining optimal health and wellness is so confusing. I am happy to help sort these things out. I still have a little common sense. Email me at jami@doctordulaney.com with questions or better yet come to our 3rd Annual Charlotte County Plant Based Nutrition Conference March 24, 2018.
