Podcast: Take an Aspirin in the Morning: or Not

Welcome! and Thank you for listening.

My mother used to joke and say she would take my night calls.  She would say take an aspirin and call me in the am.  Is that good advice?  The reality is that there is not a whole lot of good data to support the practice of taking an aspirin to protect against cardiovascular disease.  The reality is  there is not a whole lot of data on a lot of hospital practices.  I dive into this during this episode.

What we do know is that plant based nutrition especially nitric oxide producing greens will decrease cardiovascular events.  Getting outside and exercising builds good immunity.  If you would like to learn more or have us help you choose the best health options check out our website athttps://doctordulaney.com/membership/join-us/

    “MmmI”… I want one of those puddings…..
Great podcast as usual….you’re right about emergency rooms……several months ago I fell hard onto concrete and fractured my left shoulder ….I remember being in one of those rooms at the emergency clinic screaming and writhing in pain…no one came in and when someone finally did they claimed they had a “ trauma” patient to deal with……I came in by ambulance…on a stretcher….I begged for something to stop the pain…I waited and waited and then whoever it was that came in was rushed, not that kind and said they would go ask the doctor…it was a harrowing experience…….unfortunately,I had to go there….
